Super Joe Hart deserves the exceptional Paradise send off that he will get tomorrow…

Joe Hart will play his last ever game at Celtic Park tomorrow as we take on St Mirren on Trophy Day. Super Joe has been nothing but exceptional for us in his three years at the club. His ability and experience have served us very well indeed, not just on the park, but in the dressing room. He will be sorely missed that’s for sure.

Six trophies in three years, plus the chance of adding another next week have made Joe a huge hero in the eyes of the Celtic supporters.

Joe announced a few months ago that he was hanging up his gloves at the end of the season, he said he wanted to leave as a winner, and that he will do as one of his last acts in a Celtic shirt at Paradise will be to lift the league title for a third season in a row.

Joe has been an iconic figure not just to the Celtic supporters, but in the footballing world due to his ability in a successful career that’s seen him win the EPL with Manchester City and earn 75 England caps.

Joe is an exceptional keeper and deserves an exceptional send off tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him subbed off in the dying minutes of the game so he can take the acclaim of the supporters who will undoubtedly give him a rousing applause.

Maybe if Celtic get a penalty the players will demand that he goes up to take it. That’s fine for tomorrow but maybe not next weekend!

It is certain be an emotional afternoon for Joe, his family and friends, his Celtic teammates and the 60,000 Celtic supporters inside Paradise.  There is no doubt that he’s earned his send-off and he deserves to know how much the entire Celtic family appreciate him if he doesn’t know already.

Super Joe Hart. Thanks for the memories, you will be missed, but always remembered fondly at Celtic Park, where Paradise will always be your home from home and you will alway be welcome as a Celtic goalkeeping legend. All the best in your future endeavours.

When Joe Hart spoke to Ange Postecoglou, the Celtic manager asked him what he was looking for. The Celtic manager was probably thinking about the financial side of the deal. Joe Hart wasn’t. He said that he wanted to be loved.

Well he certainly got exactly in spades and he’ll get a whole lot more tomorrow. He deserves it, 100%.

JOE, JOE, SUPER JOE…JOE, JOE, SUPER JOE. JOE, JOE, SUPER JOE…SUPER JOE HART…

Then one for the road next week, Joe…
